New $4.3 Million Grant to Help Prevent Youth Violence
The Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta has awarded $4.3 million to continue and expand the programs of the Southern California Academic Center of Excellence in Youth Violence Prevention, a UC Riverside center led by Professor of Psychology Nancy Guerra.

Staff Memorial Garden Dedicated
UCR’s newly reopened Staff Plaza and Memorial Garden was the site of a rededication ceremony on Sept. 19. Established in 1992, the area serves as a quiet place for the recognition and remembrance of UCR career staff members who died while actively employed at UCR.
