The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has selected UCR for a compliance review. The review is intended to ensure that affirmative action, equal opportunity and nondiscrimination guidelines are in place and in practice at the university.

ASUCR Votes to Close the Exchange
The ASUCR Exchange, the student-owned campus store that sold discounted amusement park and movie tickets, sorority and fraternity items, balloons, greeting cards, and school supplies since 1994, closed on Sept. 24 due to declining revenue.

UCR Offers Coping Tool for Depression
Life and work can be overwhelming sometimes, but understanding the signs of stress and depression and finding healthy ways to cope can help. UC will offer a free one-hour webinar on Depression Awareness Day on Oct. 11 that will allow faculty and staff to learn more about the signs, symptoms and treatment of depression as well as how to get support for yourself, your family, friends and colleagues.
