Intelligent Design: Interspecies Art
The Art of Man’s Relationship with Animals
Intelligent Design: Interspecies Art, an exhibition of 20 international artists exploring human interaction with animals through a collection of provocative video installations, photographs, paintings and sculptures, continues at Sweeney Art Gallery through Nov. 28. The exhibit opened on Sept. 5. A reception is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the gallery, located at 3800 Main St., in the UCR ARTSblock in downtown Riverside. Admission is free.

McCord Hosts Golf Event Benefits Highlander Athletics
The Highlander Athletics Association announced in July that Barnhart Inc. will serve as the presenting sponsor of UC Riverside’s Gary McCord Golf Classic, which will be held on Monday, Nov. 2 at the Victoria Club in Riverside.
